The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been officially announced and it seems like it’ll be an welcome addition in Galaxy smartphone range. The Samsung Galaxu S4 smartphone feature 5 inch full HD super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 441 ppi, making it one of the highest resolution screens around.
The Galaxy S4 runs on Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 processor and looks to give a very solid performance when running multiple apps, or viewing media-rich web pages.
Android 4.2.2 is the operating system of choice and with a few Samsung tweaks here and there, it’s a welcome improvement over the Samsung Galaxy S3’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
The Galaxy S4 also features Air Gesture, allowing you to scroll up and down web pages and forwards and backwards through your browser by sweeping your hand up and down and across the screen above the display in air. Demos looks quite impressive.
It’s main camera feature 13MP allowing upto 4128 x 3096 pixels and features such as Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, HDR, autofocus, LED flash. Front facing camera is 2MP.
The Galaxy S4 will ship with 16GB storage built in with options of 32GB and 64GB. There’s a microSD card slot too for some extra space. Infrared gesture and temperature and humidity sensors are packed in too.
It’s a 4G LTE device allowing upto 100MBPS upload speed and 50MBPS download speed.
It is powered with 2600 mAh Li-Ion Battery which will certainly keep you going for a while.
